নিরবতা আজ প্রাচীন,
শব্দ হাওয়ায় ভাসে...
প্রতিধ্বনি রয়ে যায় শুধু
বিষাক্ত সিগারেট জলে ভাসে;
ধুলোটে রাস্তাটা আজ স্থির...
ফুটপাথের ভিখিরিটা
অপদার্থ শহরের নিঃস্তব্ধতায় হাসে;
তোর চোখে আজ শুধু জীবন,
বাতাসে লাশের কটু গন্ধ ভাসে...।
